The Brief:
Following a hot trend in the world of gardening and grow your own. We wanted to bring to market an innovative all in one Microgreens grow kit, featuring a simple but intuitive packaging solution. The aim was to design an accessible and affordable alternative the current market offering while guaranteeing high yield results every time to encourage a younger demographic.
The Insight:
Aiming to add value to a quickly growing market sector with a versatile and easy to use all in one kit. The branding must attract a new generation of user with modern and organic visuals. Taking into consideration the products primary route to market, designing for omni-channel sales to ensure the product is optimised for online and in-store retail.
The Delivery:
We worked closely with industry experts to understand the best growing processes, utilising these technologies and packaging them up in the form of Micro-Grow®. This neat little kit harnesses the power of professional growing techniques in a convenient home pack size.
The carefully designed plastic propagator and unique, innovative grow pad and wicking system means the product is self watering, 100% recyclable (R-PET) and reusable with the pads and seed kits sold separately. MicroGrow will hang from a Euro-hook, stand upright on shelf and even fits through a standard UK (35mm) postbox for online delivery.
